L’École d’Ingénieurs industriels d’Hénallux Pierrard-Virton vient de recevoir une accréditation visant à organiser le test TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication). Cinq enseignants de l’Ecole d’ingénieurs ont suivi une formation et ont été accrédités pour faire passer le TOEIC à l’école, réduisant ainsi les coûts du test et le déplacement des candidats.
Ce test permettra aux étudiants de 2e Master d'obtenir une certification officielle de leur niveau d'anglais (CECRL), un atout essentiel pour leur avenir professionnel à l’heure où la maîtrise de l’anglais figure parmi les compétences les plus recherchées chez un ingénieur.
Outre cette nouvelle valeur ajoutée pour sa formation, l’Ecole d’Ingénieurs peut se targuer de faire partie des premières Haute-Ecoles en Wallonie à organiser le test et délivrer le certificat TOEIC.
The School of Industrial Engineering of Henallux Pierrard-Virton has just received an accreditation aiming at organising the TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) tests within its premises. Five teachers in the college have attended a specific training and have been accredited to implement a TOEIC test in the school. This not only reduces the cost of the test but also avoids students’ displacements to other test centres.
The test will allow students sitting in the 2nd year of the Master of Science in Industrial Engineering to receive an official certification of their level of English (CEFRL). As English is becoming one of the major skills required for an engineer, the certification represents a real asset for our students’ career.
With this added value to its training, the School of Industrial Engineering is proud to be part of the first colleges which implement and deliver the TOEIC test in Wallonia.
